Another Newbie

Hello Sally,

I have just joined this website tonight... My name is Nina and I am 53, I too buy the mag on a regular basis.

By a strange coincidence i have just been reading about Angels too, although I have been interested in the Paranormal for  about 40 years I have only just really started reading about them.

So sorry to hear that your Partner is now in Spirit,.. It is my belief that if you dont get a message then you are either not ready to receive one or  loved ones on the other side think that you are coping ok for the moment.

You have been bereaved only a short time and i am sure you still have an enormous amount of grieving to do. You probably feel at the moment that you will never put a smile on your face again... you will Sally ,but you have to give yourself time. You will never get over this parting but you will learn to live with it until you meet again.

Sometimes  I think we are looking just that bit too hard for signs that our loved ones are still with us, and when they do send us a subtle reminder or sign it we dont notice it because of the pain we are going through.

I am no expert on these matters... just an ordinary person and my reply is based on my belief... But i do hope it gives you some comfort , ...

Many thanks for your reply.  I think you may be right about not being ready for a message.  If I am totally honest, it would probably be too painful right now.  Steve always used to say that I would be able to cope ok without him, and I am coping with life, because I have to.  Also, I work with the public so have to put a smile on my face.

I've been interested in the paranormal for as long as I can remember, but it's only the past year that I've become interested in Angels, and the past few months that I've started really reading up on them.  I've also started to meditate.  My son has booked us both on a Meditation course in April, which I am looking forward to.

It sounds like you are really close to your son if he is going on the Angels Workshop with you. Hope you get some great enjoyment from it, I am sure it will be very interesting, you will have to let us know how you get on

My Husband Kris and I are going on a Ghost Hunt at the Golden Fleece in York on 28th March. It is his birthday and i wanted to do something different. He is really looking forward to it and so am I. It is an all night "do"

He was a firm non-believer before he met me and now we have had a few experiences together  in different places he is rapidly changing his mind.

When we first lived together we rented a one up-one down cottage in the Yorkshire Dales (where we still live).

This little place had a paranormal house guest who used to knock on the bedroom door at night ...Strange thing was we were never frightened by this.. But thats another story.

Yes, My son and I are close. He has been my rock, not only these past few months, but over the past few years.  Unlike my eldest son, he has an interest in the paranormal too.

I would love to go on a ghost hunt.  I've had a few strange experiences over the years, but to my knowledge I've never seen a ghost.  The psychic we went to see was at the Theatre where I work.  It's the second time they've had a psychic there.  The Theatre is supposed to be haunted, and both psychics picked up on spirit energy there.  I've often been in there alone and never felt afraid, and I've only had one weird experience there. Colleagues have heard their names called and felt someone tap them on the shoulder.

The one place I was sure was haunted was the house I grew up in.  A few weird things going on there.  I felt it wasn't a benign energy and for years after I moved out I had bad dreams about the place.

I will be interested to hear how your Ghost Hunt goes.
