Hi everyone.  I would love to share any thoughts about Astral Travel and Dream Works.  Can you control your dreams? I can, and I cant wait to get to bed on a night....hhaha.  Would like to hear stories if any one can do the same.  Would like to hear your thoughts on Astral Travel aswell....

Astral Travel

Hi i try most nights to astal travel but I get to the point where I'm leaving my body and I suddenly either get a really bright flash of light that makes me jump or a loud bang which also makes me jump so after that I cant do anything but go to sleep annoyed lol. Is there a particular method I'm not doing right. I know the flash or the bang is going to happen but it still makes me jump when it happens. Any advice would be grateful thanks. X X X X

hiya... when we astral

hiya... when we astral travel or have an outer body experience we seperate from out physical body.  Our astral body is said to be made of light and thats possibly why you see the flash of light.  When your astral body "is pulled back into your physical body".  Your doing well. its just loads of practice.  There is a cord between our 2 bodies that will always keep them attatched.  Try to hover above your body then move further away , like into another room in your house, or close by.   Let me know how you do.   x

Astral Projections

Hi there, I'm reading a book called Astral Projections by Michael Ross at the moment (on amazon), which is quite goog. I know that when we sleep our spirit goes astral travelling & realise that some of the dreams I've had, were astral travelling things goings on. Have had flashes whilst conscious too of things, also seems to be abit of astral stuff.

Hi Jakki

I very seldom remember any dreams at all, but I do sometimes astral travel.  I can't control it and it doesn't happen that often now as it did when I was a child (when I'd often find myself walking around the house at night and being able to walk through walls and when I tried to pick anything up my hands would go straight through) and then in my twenties and thirties.  It's just something that happens sometimes.  I usually feel the astral body separating from the physical and I seem to go out lying flat for some reason, then become upright.  The most recent experience I had was last weekend, and I found myself in my Dad's house standing by his bed.  Then it went into a dream I think because he woke up and looked at me, and I said 'Hi Dad', he said 'Hello love', then I was back in bed lying beside my husband.  So I'm not sure whether the whole thing was just a dream or a bit of both.  I must remember to ask Dad if he saw me as that would probably confirm or deny for me.

Hi Starrose

I don't remember feeling the same way every time before an obe, but I was once among a mixed group of people discussing the subject and an aquaintance (a medium) said he thought they were caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain while another (a marriage guidance counsellor) thought they happened when someone wanted to get away from something.  I'm wondering if the chemical imbalance may have something to with some cases as I'd had loads of them all my life until I went on anti-depressants and during the time I was on them and the years it took me to come off them I had none at all. I've had a few since my Mum died in 2006, but nowhere near the amount I had before, I could go in and out of body several times a night.  Don't know if age is a factor (I'm late 50s now  but like to think I'm a young 50 something), maybe you have less as you age.
