Hi there just to say I have just watched Derek Acorah's meW dvd and it is excellent. The sections from the live shows show Derek at his best the real Derek Acorah and the interview etc is worth listening to.

 

Anyone else seen it yet

Derek Achorah's new DVD

Hi I am a new to this list, so please bare with any mistakes.  What is the title of Derek's DVD, price etc.  could put it on my Christmas list.

Sorry not been on for a wee while just got new laptop so back again. I bought the DVD on the Derek Acorah Website I think it was £14.99 but I now beleive you can get in on Play.com cheaper.

Yes i agree that Derek acorah does do a lot of play acting, he acts like a prat and although i do believe he has a gift i think that by doing this he is giving genuine mediums a bad name. obviously people can make up their own minds and have their own opinions of what they believe in i think it is such a shame because all mediums get tarred with the same brush.....so come on Derek....cut the bull and use the gift you were given properly..xxx

I have to agree wholeheartedly that Derek should cut out the 'extras' that he feels the need to add in. Watching him sometimes he could win an oscar !! What he seems to forget is that he is playing with people's emotions. My father was very sick many years ago when i had a reading with Derek, he told me lots of things but especially that my dad would live out his 70's, saying that he was being told this by my two grandmothers. My dad lasted just a week after that. He had it so wrong. Yet on other things he was right but made less of a fuss about it.

I contacted Derek afterwards and told him what the doctors had said and he told me that there was no point calling him and telling him as it was the doctors who let my dad down and not him. What a terrible attitude !!

Thankfully i'm slightly tuned in myself and have managed contact from my dad since his passing. However when i tell a few chosen people about my expriences it is done in a tasteful and sympathetic manner. There is no need to shout it from the rooftops and add all the dramatics.

So yes Derek, keep up the work but calm yourself and keep it real. xx
