Lygra What you need to do is

Lygra

What you need to do is sit your son down and let him know that no matter what has happened in the past, you love him and you will be there for him... he only needs to ask for your help.  Tell him that he can tell you anything, that you wont judge him regardless of what he says and that between you both, you will help him fight the demons that are giving him these thoughts... below is a little poem i wrote... the words may help you find the strength to help your son... get some guidance from a counsellor... they will know what to do... Angel blessings.

Angelic Inspiration

When darkness comes and tries its best

To make your spirits low

Call on your Angels to give you strength

To tell the darkness “No”

Stay strong willed and determined

Be brave, stand up and fight

Your Angels are there to help you

Turn the darkness into light

They’re always there beside you

Just ask and they will hear

They’ll guide you through your darkest hours

There is no need to fear

Let their love and inspiration

Flow throughout your veins, so pure

As the darkness fades, you will know in your heart

There is hope for you once more

support

Hi Lygra,

so far some good advice. tell him that you love him and dont want to lose him.

Are there are any support groups for young adults with autism spectrum problems in your area that may help him to make new friends and get the support from people his own age? Have a look online. Try some charities for this too.

Those people from his past are just that - the past. try and help him find ways to look to the future.

can he enrol at a local college for some courses? maybe redo adult gcse's or a creative course. If its something he is interested in, he'll hopefully stick to it. Help him make a life plan. (on a large piece of paper, write at top what his goal is, like getting a job as a computer engineer. then start at the bottom and write every single step he has to do do to achieve that. Once he has achieved each step he can cross it off and rise up the ladder).

EG: Get a job as a computer engineer

6). Organise CV for computer engineer course and start applying for jobs

5). Find what experience that relevent to job and offer to do some work placements

4). Pass courses

3). Get onto course and study

2.B). If dont have relevent qualifications, apply to do necessary courses to get onto computer course

2.a). If already have relevent Qualifications, apply for course

1). Look at course at college and find out what qualifications needed to get on course

Hope this helps

(my son is 15 and on the autism spectrum and still undiagnosed. He also has dyslexia that the education system is ignoring as he is 1% too clever to qualify for proper help, so I knwo some of the frustrations there).

Love this poem did you write?

Hi Jacky / Lygra

In answer to your question, yes, I did write the poem.  It is one of many poems I have written to help not only myself, but to help others.  I started writing poems as a way of release when my son was posted to Iraq and then Afghanistan... please feel free to use the words, if they bring you comfort, then they are worth writing.... below is another which my young daughter has now memorised to heart...

Prayer for Loved Ones

Guardian Angels

Up above

Please watch over

The ones I love

Keep them safe

And free from harm

Fill their world

With peace and calm

Protect them with

Your guiding light

Help them to choose

A path that’s right

In times of need

Please make them strong

Help them face

Whatever is wrong

If they need comfort

Please shower them with love

Let them know

It’s sent from above

Watch over them

Watch over me

Please help make our lives

Fun and care free

So, Dearest Angels

Before I close my eyes and rest

From my heart I thank you

Good night, God Bless

Journey through life

Before we’re born we forge a path

For when our journey through this life begins

Along our path we plan lessons to learn

So our souls may grow deep within

The day we are born and the day we will die

Has been carved in stone and set

So we must live our lives as we have planned

Until our destinies are met

During our life we may stray from our path

Fear not for help is at hand

Our guardian angels will guide us back

To continue our life path as planned

Closing our eyes as we travel our path

We’ll find our goal is not easy to see

Keep them wide open for our Angels send signs

To guide us as we journey

There’ll be highs and lows as we travel our path,

Many trials and tribulations

As long as we trust our Angel guides

We will reach our ultimate destination

Angels are there to protect our souls

To teach us compassion and love as they steer

But each of us is born with our own free will

In which our Angels will not interfere

So let love and laughter fill our worlds

As we each travel our life paths as planned

We should not fear, for we are never alone

Thanks to our Angels who stay close at hand

Some more words for your enjoyment

Guardian Angels

Close your eyes and drift away

To a tranquil peaceful place

Let this haven bring you calm

And a smile upon your face

For in this peaceful haven

Your guardian angels are there

They’ve been waiting all your life

To show you that they care

Your guardian angels will guide you

Through the challenges of life you face

But your free will determines

The outcome of your fate

They cannot interfere

With the life plan mapped for you

All they can do is try and guide

And help to see you through

They will wrap their wings around you

When you really need some love

For they’ve been sent from God himself

From the heaven’s up above

If you need help from your angels

You only need to ask

They’ll be there to do all they can

To guide you through each task

No matter how much you are hurting

Your angels will ease the pain

And guide you back on your life path

Then your life will be better again

There are so many fabulous stories

Where people’s lives have been changed

Saved from fates much worth than death

Thanks to the help their angels arranged

I know my guardian angels

Will always watch over me

Helping me down my own life’s path

Wherever that may be

Thank you Angels, God Bless
