Mermaids and mermen real or fake

I really belive in mermaids and have read loads about them 

I man had a sent i a video to fact or faked of one he claims to haved filmed and it really seems real what does everyone else think about mermaids

as much as i love mermaids and would love to think they are real , i believe they are only fictional i did see a photo of a dead one on this web site but it turned out to be fake so i do not think they are real , shame really and any way if they were real there would have been proof of one by now , good luck in finding one though.
