Mice

Hi,
Any ideas on how we can keep mice at bay, they are coming from a neighbours & so far since Easter we have caught 25. The enviroment people can't do anything as the house is privately own.
I am now getting really frustrated, we have 2 snap trap ( which I really do not like using but is a means to an end ) 1 humane trap plus poison in the garage.
We really need help in getting rid of them for health reasons.
Any ideas as to how to get rid of them & keep them away or why they like our house so much would be gratefully ( & desperately ) received.
Thank you

You seem to have tried nearly everything. The only thing I can suggest is to buy a cat, they really are good at catching mice. Hope this helps.
We have mice, at the moments its pretty quiet as we have the plug in thingys that send a noise out. However I can honestly say when ever I do spells the mice always arrive soon after. I remember doing a spell a while ago but cant remember what it was or where from to get rid of them. I dont think it worked though
As previously suggested, the plugs that emit a sound at high frequency that mice can hear and will deter them. A cat, or a pair of cats as that'll usually make it a competition between the two.
It's worrying that it's your nextdoor neighbours that are responsible, it may be worth asking citizens advice bureau for advice on action that can be taken. Document if possible how many rodents are caught and at which locations in the house. They are ultimately responsible for pest control, and should be made aware of it. If they refuse to act when you've told them, it may be necessary to ask for legal advice as it's clearly affecting your property.
